The myth is you can be born poor but if you work hard, you will become rich. Not true. Obama says it happened to him. And in fact, it is the essence of his "message" -- "if I can do it in this country, then ANYONE can". I don't know where you get this crap. I think you would be much more comfortable in a communist country where you have no responsibility for your own future and can just rely on the life you were born into to allow you to get by. For me, I want to be responsible for my own success, and if it should happen, my failures as well.
