Why do immigrants keep coming here if it sucks so badly. Oh there you go.....you got me, you little rascal! First of all, I never said things sucked badly here. We do have a solid and fairly large middle class with a solid standard of living. And compared to many poor countries we look mighty good. So do Canada, AU, and Europe who also get a lot of immigrants. What I have said in the past is we can be better. Secondly, do you think the myth stays just in the US? I mean many immigrants of the past have believed US streets were lined with gold. Americans are very good at spin. ;-) Why do you bother educating youth at all if it's pointless and they should all get government checks. Here we go....strawman time. Why don't you righties go get a heart from the Wizard? It would make the world a much more pleasant place. Fact is America is still the land of opportunity and the American dream is still alive and kicking - check any immigrant group that comes here with nothing and manages to make a go of it. Yes, of course, Eric......why did I ever doubt that 'fact'? Because poor immigrants from impoverished nations want to come here......that automatically refutes all the facts and makes you right.
