The only reason Europeans speak more languages is because they have too. They are more exposed to other languages, so they make it a higher priority. We don't really need to do this. In fact English is becoming the international language.

I posted a vid earlier this week from this speech. I like his humor.....it cracks me up. And its so true......Americans think they are brilliant if they can speak enough German to say: "Ich bin Berliner!" Leading to the shock and amazement of Germans. I don't think you understand that his reply was about English only teaching VS teaching illegal immigrant children with Spanish speaking teachers. Powder Spring GA is in Cobb county and has one of the best school systems in Georgia, they teach Spanish, French, and German in grade school. The question was not in reference to that. My children learned Spanish, and Latin. Maybe BO misunderstood the question.
