not all studies tell the complete story.

This one was based on what the Cardiac people thought. It's obvious the Cleveland Clinic is outstanding. And Mayo is right up there also. Everything else is "also ran."

I am going to try to talk to the top Cardiologist at my Kaiser Hospital and see if he is open to getting an EBT scanner. Otherwise, I will have to make a trip to LA next year.

The secret of the Heart Scan is to get a couple to see which way you are going. I was 330 on my first one. Most heart attacks occur in new coronary plaque. This means that if I have slowed down the growth of plaque, I have really cut my chances of having an attack. Normal growth would be 30% a year. So I hope my preventative measures are working and that the next scan shows no more than 350 or so.

If not, and I want to reduce my risk, I face going on a diet I will very much dislike. A South Beach one of no wheat or sugar products. Meat, vegetables, nuts, fruit and cheese.
