The headline says "Home prices rise in east and west"

Measured in dollars, I'm sure that home prices increased during last 12 months.

And unlike USA, we don't have a trade debt that needs to be financed.

That is one heck of a plus a currency that reflects present economic value not future fantasy.

Both Canada and US have seen a very rapid rise in the price of houses. US has and is in the process of a long drawn our mild word correction right word crash where Canada is not, it has slowed. Canada acted in certain areas exactly like we here in US in certain areas. House on market one day sold the next day, Financing might not of been quite as creative in Canada as it has been here but wages as here are too low to merit the cost of housing.

My dear friends are about to take a vacation back home to your country. I gather it is changing not exactly as ease filled as it was. They claim it is becoming much more competitive in business/ job market.
