Yup. Things are not getting any better. The differences between us seem to be growing larger.

There was a guy in my cohort who, from time to time, people would ask where he stood on the issues. He would never give an answer....instead, he would duck the question. Eventually, I began to think he was a GOPer.....even as he lived in one of the more liberal neighborhoods of Seattle. Three months ago, he and his girlfriend suddenly moved to the Republican side of the metro area. And yes, one side of the Seattle metro is known as Republican. He probably was not comfortable in Seattle.
