Even so, I think the point that, if you're serious about Omega 3 and 6, you have to get your Omega 3 someplace else. Grass-fed beef mitigates the problem somewhat but it doesn't counter it. It's not just the ratio but the total number, which is smallish in beef.

No question about that. But, IMO, it is more about limiting Omega 6 than increasing Omega 3 from grass fed meat. Particularly, the most active member of Omega 6 family - arachidonic acid, or AA.

EPA and AA are the most active members of their families (Omega 3 and Omega 6). They have active role in life of every cell of human body. If AA predominates, bad things happen.
