Not yet - just the experience of the three of the past crises -

Telecom, S&L, and DOT com.

The numbers should show up in some Q3 results, but we won't see real evidence until the end of Q1 in 2009. By that time, the financial and bank stocks would have already moved back.

Between today and the end of 2008, banks can hide earnings by just accelerating the write downs of loans they might normal wait until Q4 to write down.
