I think McCain was trying to get money to pay for heating systems in those public housing buildings that Obama's slum lord employer wouldn't pay for and Obama ignored the plight of his black bros.

I think McCain was duped by a conman, Keating. So was John Glenn if I recall. McCain's embarrassment over this is responsible for his involvement in McCain-Feingold imo. Anyway this is one incident in a long career.

If you want to compare to Obama, Obama's involvement with Rezko extended over his entire legal and political career - right up until his indictment.
