Not sure if you watched Fareed Zakaria's GPS show on CNN today. Obama was interviewed by Fareed for 45 minutes. First of all I liked Fareed's style of interview. He resembles the famed British TV interviewer David Frost in style and also the quality of his questions. Since Fareed let Obama talk most of the time and let him expound his views, the interview provided us the opportunity to see how Obama thinks. His thoughts projected a very strong understanding and command of foreign policy issues. Never have I seen a candidate with the depth of knowledge on foreign policy as his. I would say the last candidate that had this grasp was Nixon. For those who missed the interview and would like to watch it, I suggest you keep an eye here and it will be posted there in a day or two. cnn.com
