I found a great way to make a quick apple "pie" to go along with your BBQ things....Use pie crust already made in the Pilsbury refridge box.....unroll, let rest. Mix sliced apples, with self rising flour, cinnamon, bit of nutmeg, bit of salt, mix up and put on flat crust...put pats of butter on top of apples...pull up crust, ok if apples show....bake at 425 for 30-40 minutes.... serve with whipped cream or ice cream.... EASY and nummy!
