Barack Obama and the Muslim call to prayer

On this day in 2007, Barack Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth.” In an interview with The New York Times, Senator Obama recited, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent,” the opening lines of this prayer:

“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet... “

"Barrack Hussein Obama on the Iraq War"

"I opposed the war in Iraq before it began-----" Obama

So What? Who cares what Obama thought "before the war"? Or, what his dream is now------"when I grow up I will declare"--my plan for xyz.

If Obama opposed the war, he could have gone to Iraq and fought for Saddam Hussein's team in opposition to the dumb war that he spoke against due to lack of knowledge and ignorance of the situation.

Or, Obama could have left the country in protest as did some of the anti-war-Vietnam protesters.

Now that this nation has done what was necessary, Obama wants to be POTUS and take the credit for ending the war----that is in the process of being resolved as reconstruction begins for the Iraq people sans the evil Dictator Saddam Hussein?

Obama should withdraw his candidacy; thereby, enabling the Democrat Party to select a real statesman for their candidate for POTUS in 2008.
