You're entitled to your opinion but I don't know of any facts that support your position. The traditional measures, such as economic growth, inflation, interest rates, and unemployment, suggest that the economy is doing fine. Not perfect, but fine.

Banks will go over from time to time. People will overspend their budgets sometimes. But if you want to know what serious economic problems look like I recommend you look back to the Carter years.

Most of you kids around today don't have a clue what a rough economy is because it has been nearly 30 years since it has been rough.
