Eracer:

Intel's graphics are so low end you need a microscope to see them. A Puma will be faster in games than a Nehalem with an Intel IGP. And Puma's successor will be updated with an R700 class core (Radeon 4xxx) integrated into the CPU. Fusion might even have a R800 class core (Radeon 5xxx) with DirectX 11.

At 2.6GHz, Nehalem will be good enough for the most demanding desktop user(assuming it is 30% faster than phenom). Who is going to buy the higher clock Nehalem and the Core 2 Quad. Both Intel and AMD desktop revenues will drop. It is not going to benefit Intel or AMD.

Unless the intention is to get rid of AMD before the law suit go to the court. HP and Acer will not like it. Without AMD, HP and Acer will be less profitable. HP and Acer margin were less than 3% before AMD launched the opteron and athlon.
