RMTR has come a long way from the days where one customer represented a significant portion of their revenue. Based on the recent 10K filing, there are only two customers that contribute more than 5% of revenue (one is 7% or $3.7M, the other is 6% at $3.3M) This is full year 2007 revenues.

The question is how big was this customer, how early was the defect discovered, how many finished products are there that need to be recalled and what sector are those finished products. If the customer was new or relatively small, if the defect is something that can be easily serviced, or if the end product is relatively inexpensive in proportion to the cost of the FRAM chip, that would be ideal. Hopefully we will get some better clarity from RMTR soon. RMTR has foreseen this as a risk to their business and does carry insurance, so with their foundry (either Fujitsu or TI) should offset to a large degree the liability here.
