I agree, but freedom to a socialist isn't freedom from the govt, the govt is the solution which will only be successful if govt has 100% control of their subjects life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are endowed by our Creator, therefore socialism's first goal is to eliminate the Creator. Look around at today's socialist movements claiming to hide behind the constitution they seek to destroy freedom from religion, not freedom of religion has already been accomplished to some extent you really don't have to look any further than this thread to see today's socialist/communist movement, the idea that the govt is the solution, the govt is god, and we should all sacrifice for the motherland
