Well, the present looks pretty crappy and the future does too at this point, so I'm not going to be patting any Republicans on the back for their fine handling of things. This MASSIVE debt we've accumulated over the last 28 years has really put the U.S. into a corner and it's not going to be easy getting out of it.

Ann, HOW is McCain going to do that? Maybe you didn't notice, but Bush tried the hardline, threat, route and it didn't go too well, so NOW he's "talking" to N. Korea AND Iran (read the latest news?).

I didn't like Bush when he was threatening and I don't like Bush when he's talking because the guy doesn't seem to have an ounce of "nuance" in his thinking.
