When Congress enacted the Bush tax cuts, I knew they would not control spending and said so on these threads. The impact of those decisions will fall most heavily on those people now in their 30s, 40s and 50s when they seek their Social Security benefits.

Can you expand on your post, brumar? I'm interested because Republican fiscal irresponsibility has been a key problem that has disaffected many Republicans I know. So I'm curious what you mean by lack of rightwing ideals.
