"Wholesale inflation is worst in 27 years" A sane Fed would have been raising rates before this, and would certainly start now. Can Bernanke face down the (R)'s worried about the election and start America on the painful medicine it needs? Stay tuned.. He can't raise the rates. He starts raising the rates and banks will start falling like a game of dominoes. Bernanke now is between a rock and a hard place because he waited too long to act last year. Like most of his fellow Bush appointees, he's incompetent.
