Commodity prices go up across the board and with the exception of energy and food other prices dont rise much at all.

It's working it's way through. Raising prices is tough work... but once it takes a foothold you get the spiral. And once you get the spiral it's really tough to stop it.

You remember.... I don't think anyone under 40 has much of a memory of serious inflation.
