3 to 5 days??? does that include time to move between holes?

What diameter are they drilling?

- ..its 3 to 5 days not one

That seems very long to me. 24-36 hours would make a lot more sense to me. Is there anything special about coal?

Must be slower drilling since they're using air. Damn a weekend on pins and needles. I sure hope it's your Blue Moon as well ;-}

Hank and Nevada sure describe the situation well. On the one hand I feel like it's too good to be true and OTOH the historical geology paints a pretty compelling story that GXS has a large high quality coal deposit.

If we're wrong I won't be shooting myself in the head just the knee cap.

Holes drill at 50 metres per shift. Sometimes a shift to get thru overburden. Moves don't take long. Half a shift to a shift to get set up and drill a few metres with casing, even if they are moving 500 metres. 200 metre holes with 50 metres of overburden will take 6 shifts max. 3 days.

Could be water is trouble to keep going. Don't know how far water is. I have seen it where they had to truck water. Won't slow em down much.

Vertical drilling is more difficult. Slower pulling. Wet. Still can't be less than 40 metres per shift.

I imagine they leave the casing in so they should not have to screw around pulling casing. They may have to drill with a blowout preventer. That kind of drilling is slower. So you could add a day.
