Many on the rightwing are cultists, brainwashed by rightwing propaganda. Believing in a reality which does not exist. That is the textbook definition of insanity. The rightwing echo machine which has been going for a decade or more led by Limbaugh and Fox News is responsible. Because they have monopolized radio in many parts of the country the poor listeners are literally brainwashed. All lies of course. All of it proven to be lies now. But as millions followed Hitler until the bitter end, so do a lot of dittohead Bushies. Even though they are being hurt the worst by criminal Bushie policies and gas gouging.
