sir it your thread and with all due respect but, cannabis is an excellent preventative medication whose benefits would more be widely known if it weren't for the politically repressive environment in which it exists today. so having said that... i demand that our culture recognize the potential medical benefits that cannabis has to offer. i demand that our society recognize the harm being created by our laws is greater than the harm of a plant grown from seed. i demand that the ignorance surrounding this plant be challenged and interpreted in a more rational less politically charged environment. you can think what you will, but it should not be a great surprise that there are medicinal benefits from plants. seeing how most of our medications are synthesized from the active ingredients of plants. and our discoveries are centered around plants. it's just plant. one that happens to have some side effects of intoxication. put that aside for a moment and consider that without intoxication this plant would be used widely in industry today. pharmaceutical, textile, energy, paper and on and on and on!! what is it about this plant that seems to elicit such intractable polarized ideas? i'm begging you people. reconsider your predigous against this plant. it is very helpful medically for a lot of people and it needs to be made available for those who need it. cannabis is an excellent preventative medication when used properly for the right person with the right ailment.
