"The U.S. consumer price index surged 1.1% in June, the largest monthly rise since June 1982. Excluding food and energy, the CPI advanced 0.3%. Both readings exceeded economists' forecasts. On a year-over-year basis, consumer prices swelled 5%, the highest rate since May 1991."

The juggernaut is right on schedule. And people keep throwing themselves under it.
