Add in that the Euro is now worth $1.60. This should imply that a company based in Euroland can buy US based companies on the cheap for the time being.

The ASYT premium is being touted by the buyer but its a lowball # when looked at from a historical perspective. Who wants to sell at the bottom of the cycle when the future looks the weakest? While many companies would be better off selling in the long run, becoming larger, stronger entities, the entrenched insiders hate to give up their golden goose.

I think we'll see a lot more action out of this group in the next few quarters, merger wise, then we've seen in a long, long time.
