Yes, INTC did historically a less than convincing job with their integrated GPUs. On paper, specs were great but actual performances were never really convincing. While integrated GPUs don´t need to fullfil 3D gamers dreams we have right now a clearly defined task on hand: support of playing HD video content (e.g. blu-ray stuff) without drawing too much power and CPU usage. INTC promised that their upcoming X4500 GPU will be an adequate performer in this sense. Let´s see what they have once a finalized product hits the market. So far, the delays concerning Centrino 2 and even more so the X4500 GPU are pretty annoying.
