Typical Liberal crying "Don't pick on me". o Some pretty funny comments follow that note on American Thinker….for instance: (and there are more)americanthinker.com can't help but laugh at this stuff. Typical Liberal crying "Don't pick on me". Posted by: Dori | July 15, 2008 09:40 AM Not only is Obama displaying an inherent weakness in automatically complaining about any less-than-positive image of himself and his co-candidate, a more frightening aspect emerges in this flap. The fact that Obama and his handlers reacted in a hair-trigger fashion without bothering to look inside the issue to find out exactly what the meaning of sketch was is yet another indication that Obama is unfit to command the United States military. It illustrates perfectly Obama's mindset - he is all surface and cannot be bothered to dig into the details of anything lest the facts ruin his narrative. That is not the sort of leadership for which anyone has been waiting. Posted by: Matt May | July 15, 2008 09:46 AM Oh I agree. My first reaction was "Poor Baby, the big boys are beating up on him." He's way too weak to be President. Posted by: Reggie Hargett | July 15, 2008 09:48 AM I suggest, Thom, that there was no protest to Brokeback Mountain because the joke was obvious--the suggestion being so far from the truth. In contrast the Obama cover is darn close to reality. OTOH, the viciousness of other cartoons about Bush and Cheney and similarly vile rhetoric DOES largely go unremarked. Posted by: clarice | July 15, 2008 09:57 AM I guess this is why they need the 'fairness' doctrine. if you can't stand the heat, close the kitchen. And that's the last thing Obama and his acolytes want--the American people being introduced to reality. Posted by: Heather | July 15, 2008 10:55 AM Oh my goodness I can't help but squirm about in my chair thinking of how the messiah will react when he is stared down by the likes of the monster midget from Iran or the Pol Pot of North Korea or any other number of tyrants. Will the messiah come back home, shrug his shoulders and tell us "well I tried but I guess I failed lets have a group hug". This is so insane to think that a person with such thin skin, so little experience and such a poor understanding of the American people as well as our history could actually become President of the United States. And he seems to have no understanding or comprehension of our economy or how it works. Wake up people.
