It's a big fat slow pitched softball, right there for the GOP to slam out of the park, if they swing the bat hard enough...

So far Bush seems to be the only one swinging the bat. I agree with you that this is a huge winner if they would just go at it. Iraq and energy can make the Democrats very uncomfortable and not have a cake walk.

sept 30th will be a very interesting day if congress can get off of it's a** and do something. Even if they don't do something on sept 30th, it will still be interesting.
