So far Bush seems to be the only one swinging the bat.

Unfortunately, Bush is a bumbling, tongue tied speaker, a bad attribute for a President. However, on energy, he has been saying the right things lately (mostly, excepting the ethanol boondoggle and repeating the silly "oil addiction" mantra).

But will the country listen? And will some of the more articulate GOP congressional candidates forcefully take this winning issue and drive the point home? And will McCain finally wake up and smell the roses? I won't hold my breath on that one...
