Michael, this "gook" thing along with the New Yorker cover of Obama reminds me of something back in college. My friends were upset over a cover on the New Yorker that depicted Chinese businessmen in an unflattering way. They thought it was "racist," while I thought they were making a big deal over nothing. Seems like nothing much has changed. Political correctness has become the poor substitute for real racial reconciliation. People think they're being "racially tolerant" and "sensitive" just by following the PC rules. Tenchusatsu
