Credit crunch is isolated to the good Ol' US of A. Of course, there were some banks in Europe and Canada among others that participated in the subprime market in the USA, for the most part it's in the USA. The colateral damage to other markets and a global slowdown is worrisome.

The POO is related to supply and demand and some speculation. Supply is dwindling and demand is increasing.
