CJ, who would have thought that casualties in Afghanistan now exceed the casualties in Iraq? I agree that we should focus more on Afghanistan, especially now that we have the opportunity, but even before that. But it will be interesting to see if Obama has the leadership it takes to succeed there. At least McCain proved that the surge worked in Iraq. Most political pundits agree that the lower levels of violence in Iraq will help McCain. I figure Obama scrubbing criticism of the "failed surge" from his web site is a tacit admission of that.
