I know, so the fed cannot fight inflation and so inflation will keep coming at us strong pushed by high oil prices and gold will soar.

We were talking about two different things-lol. I know the fed cannot lowed the fed funds rate. so that allows inflation to flame.

I am just saying prices for everything in my town are exploding like in 1975.

The Vietnam expenditures caused that stagflation and the present deficits among other things is casuing this stagflation.

They look like twin events to me.

By 1980 gold had gone to $852. I know you know that.
