I am with you..gold heading higher for a lot of reasons. But technical correction do happen and can be violent.

You see inflation in consumer prices now due to several factors. But there has been some monetary deflation (collapse of credit) in the several recent months. The situation is very complex and I see potential for outright deflation as much as eventually hyperinflation during this currency and credit crisis. How will depend on how the USA authorities deal with this unseen crisis.

Gold will do well under any of these circumstances in the long term. But the short and intermediate term is another story.
