"Earth is NOT in balance, never has been and it's a battle for survival, against the odds, with conditions constantly changing on Earth. Humans are putting some of the carbon back into the ecosphere. The carbon being returned was once alive. Recycling is a good thing Wharfie."

I think the Greeks invented that whole balance of nature thing. They never had any proof either but it sure sounded nice. A friend of mine said the other day about life, his life and in general "when will it get better" I replied it never gets better then one day it gets really bad and then you die. People like Wharfie want SUV's that run on granola bars and believe in radical ideas because they FEEL them to be true. Beautiful platitudes such as those spouted by Obama resound strongly with them.

"There is a misguided idea among the scientifically illiterate..."

That certainly describes you. Your level of illiteracy is astounding; almost like the average American.
