LOL....Yeah, following your logic I never pay attention to stuff written by guys named "Newt", "Mitt",or "Scooter".

I mean, what kind of names are those? An amphibian, a baseball implement and a kid's vehicle. How can you take anything seriously that they say? And worse...Shushanna was probably given her name by her parents while those three bozos chose as adults to go by the names they use instead of their full given names...Amazing! Isn't Newton better than Newt?

ALL names are 'made up'.

'John Smith' is 'made up'.

That how language works. It changes, evolves.

Same as any newly-introduced word: if it catches on with a public it gets passed on... it replicates.
