heard on the radio today in Shelby County schools the teachers are getting a 2% pay raise. Going to cost about 242k. That 242k figure includes a 56k raise for the superintendent. But instead of teachers, you read this later in the article: Most of the raises, ranging from 2 percent to 4 percent, will occur among the district's principals, assistant principals and vice principals. commercialappeal.com the public schools are just as screwed up as the government...gimme gimme gimme....
