heard on the radio today in Shelby County schools the teachers are getting a 2% pay raise. Going to cost about 242k. That 242k figure includes a 56k raise for the superintendent.

But instead of teachers, you read this later in the article:
Most of the raises, ranging from 2 percent to 4 percent, will occur among the district's principals, assistant principals and vice principals.

if you can't fire the bad teachers how will more money help?

Raise taxes.

most of the best teachers are in private schools where they earn a lot less. Why ? because they love teaching more then a pay check

Oh, shortie, what do you know. Go to bed.
