If the ex post facto consideration can be dismissed, then the law passed about a year after his birth, and SPECIFICALLY CRAFTED to address the implications of being born in the Zone, would certainly remove ALL CONSTITUTIONAL DOUBTS about his eligibility to run for the Presidency. I can't say that I know anything specific about the law(s) that were previously in force... but the 1937 one directly plugged the loophole.
