Well, yes.

If the ex post facto consideration can be dismissed, then the law passed about a year after his birth, and SPECIFICALLY CRAFTED to address the implications of being born in the Zone, would *certainly* remove ALL CONSTITUTIONAL DOUBTS about his eligibility to run for the Presidency.

I can't say that I know anything specific about the law(s) that were *previously* in force... but the 1937 one directly plugged the loophole.
