it just occurred to me that the terminology i have been using for smoking pot --intoxication-- might not be correct. if you are 'inTOXICated' that would assume that the substance being used is TOXIC...meaning it could kill you. that would definitely include alcohol and cigarettes and cocaine. but shouldn't include pot or acid so if you can't be 'intoxicated' smoking pot or 'inebriated' what you? other than just being hi? hmmmm
