Obama has only a six point lead and he has yet to face the possible "doug wilder" voting booth issue. My view is that whites would gladly vote in large numbers for Colin Powell but will hesitat giving the rookie a chance because of his inexperience. They may be harder on a black rookie than a white one so ted is right, there might be an element of racism there. Its weird because all immigrants as well as blacks were always told to wait their turn. If obama had waited his, you would be railing against Hillary and if she hadnt run against obama and found her voice she might be just as vulnerable.

Excuse me, David. Don't be an ass. He's a black man running in a nation that is predominately white and one that has had a long history of racism. So don't give me this BS that he should be up 20 pts. That's a crock.

I don't know of anyone who is considering voting or not voting for Obama based on his race, OTHER than blacks, who obviously will ALL vote for him -- up to and including Jesse Jackson.

Oh give me a break! There have been white people on tv who have admitted they will not vote for him because he is black. And not just GOPers but Dems as well. Hell....where have you been the last 18 months?

At any rate, it was you who claimed the polls suggest Obama is winning and even gaining strength. I simply pointed out you are wrong. Which you quite obviously are. Americans are starting to understand he is nothing more than an over-rated mouthpiece for the extreme Left.

Again, the polls don't agree with you but why would I expect you to rely on fact when stating your strongly worded assertions.

You complain about Bush's hubris, but I've never seen hubris like Obama is showing.

Stand up is your medium.
