Yeah, I heard a story yesterday that in his first year of grad school in Vermont, an African-American was stopped by the cops 13 times

And how credible is such a claim?

I'm not saying it couldn't happen; I can remember when I lived in Dallas claims about blacks being stopped without cause when walking through Highland Park.

But 13 times without any cause? Highly unlikely. If someone told me that tale, I would automatically discount it unless there were some evidence to back it up.

Yeah, I heard a story yesterday that in his first year of grad school in Vermont, an African-American was stopped by the cops 13 times -- never charged with anything or even given a traffic ticket.

It happens all the time in the most liberal of places.....unfortunately. I suspect it will take a bit longer aka decades before people get over their insipid racism.

Places like Vermont are very racist. Also San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and Madison, WI.
