Can't see the obstruction claim.

It's quite obvious. If the government doesn't subsidize and/or mandate "alternative" energy, then it's obstructing it. Simple, huh? :-)

Obstruction is a 2 year moratorium on new solar farm permits in our western deserts or delaying renewal of the alternative energy credits, despite having already signed off on the oil subsidies. That's not very even handed, don't you think? As long as oil is favored in our tax policies over alternatives, then it is fair to call our government obstructionist.

Not to mention the careful censoring of the EPA studies that Cheney continually engages in.
