MO made only about a dozen gaffes before BO finally had the courage to divert her from taking the EU tour. Brave man..wonder how that conversation went: BO: Michelle dear, will you have time to choose a new outfit for my inauguration day ceremonies and all the balls & receptions afterwards?...thought you might want to take the time, here at home, to purchase those dresses with matching $600 earrings while I'm in Europe. MO: Well, Barry dear, thought I'd appear on a few British, French & German TV shows. After that I could check the chic French designer boutiques while in Paris with you. BO: errr,,,,well, I'll be extremely busy sweetheart..all those photo ops and press conferences...and, err,,,we'll move so quickly there won't be time for TV appearances. Won't you be bored? MO: That's true...maybe my time would be better spent at home...shopping in NYC..oooh, that's right, I can appear again on The View with all those other brilliant women. Afterwards, Whoopi and I can shop at Saks...maybe not--we don't exactly have the same taste. My mind is made up Barry!..I'll stay here while you're in Europe---Hope you won't miss me too much buttercup, and remember NO SMOKING!!! BO: Really honeybuns? but, how will I survive without you along? Well, alright if you've made up your mind.. who am I to try to change it...Smoking??...no problem--all of France is a No Smoking Zone. (as he walks out of the room...whew!!! that was a close one.)
