Whites have been doing just that for years; that is voting only for white candidates.....and not just in the South. I'm sure some have. I don't know that it is a widespread practice. No one ever talked about that. So why now is it such a big issue for you? It really isn't a big issue for me. I don't care. I just think there is a double standard -- racism cuts both ways. The blacks who are voting for Obama due to his complexion are racist. There is nothing new here.
