I really don't know ANY people under 30 that have land lines. They grew up with cellphones, cellphones have all the features of land lines and more, and see no reason whatsoever to have a land line. Quite rightly. They might use Skype to call long distance. Some friends who turned 30 last year....just gave up their land line. They needed one for their fax because the wife worked at home. When she stopped working at home, they no longer needed the fax. Its why I keep my land line..for the fax. From what I've heard the wifi fax machines don't work all that well......then again, I don't pay too much attention because I don't want to be tempted to buy something new. Having said all that, I still believe Z was exaggerating to some degree. Hugh, of course, was way over the top.
