It's been over a year since the last time I called someone under 50 on a home landline.

That says more about the people you associate with than it does about the use of landlines by persons under 50. Or the way you choose to communicate with them.

The 30-50 crowd mostly owns cell phones, and you may choose to call them on their cells; but that doesn't mean they don't have land lines.

While the under-30 crowd generally trends more toward cell-only service, the 30-50 crowd still tends toward land lines for the most part. I'm sure most use their cell phones more, but they prefer the stability of land lines in their homes. Personally, I would have no discomfort with doing away with a land line at this point, but really have to reason to other than the $40/month or whatever it is.

>Both of you are exaggerating just a bit........

Not at all. It's been over a year since the last time I called someone under 50 on a home landline.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that every under 50 doesn't have a land line. That was the implication of your statement.
