You have totally mis-interpreted my message, "Notice to Customers".

This message is posted by many brokerage firms advising their clients that starting tomorrow, they must follow the new SEC rule in regard to short selling any of the 19 stocks mentioned.

Judging from your message, you have also mis-interpreted about the SEC's new rule about "forcing the MM'S to cover the naked shorted shares". The new rule only applies to new short sales on the shares of the specific 19 companies.

Cheers,

>I doubt there are very many stocks on the exchange that have available shorts right now. Who in their right mind would want to short the market after reading the news regarding forcing the MM'S to cover the naked shorted shares???

This statement of yours make me laugh twice as hard. You have totally misread the news. Do you understand what new "naked selling" on the specific 19 stocks mean? Where is the news mentioning forcing the MM's to cover thier naked shorted shares?

Cheers,
