I have been to England and Ireland. The news there is pretty closed. I wonder if they have free press. Just there for two weeks, I was in Ireland over a year ago. Standard of living seems better in Ireland, bigger cars in Ireland. England has more of the smart cars and golf cart size EV's. Ireland's cars are generally smaller than here but I see Jeep Grand Cherokee's there. The roads are a bit worse in Ireland, which may account for that somewhat.

Ireland [but not N. Ireland] has seen its standard of living rise dramatically over the last ten years. Just twenty years ago, Ireland was one of the poorest nations in Europe....now its one of the most prosperous.
