Obama chose to call himself African-American rather than calling himself "American", in so doing he has created a barrier. We are all Americans if you are a legal citizen. I don't know what your ancestral background is----do you call your self Irish-American, Welsh- American, German- American, French-American, white American, black American, Chinese-American , Italian American, African-American. See how ridiculous this separation becomes. Without doubt, Obama will morph into an American by the time of the Convention. I could actually write his speech for him.

Kenneth, when Jesse Jackson was a candidate for the presidential nomination, do you believe it was "bias" among Democrats that kept him from winning the nomination? If there is no bias, why is Obama the first African-American to be nominated by a major party in 220 years of US History?
