The government must lead the way on getting off fossil fuels, followed by the public and private sectors. Brazil did it their way, we can do it too. In fact we must. We have no choice. It can and will be done. The only question is how long and how much more damage will it take? That is one huge reason this election is so important. McCain has already sold out to big oil interests. He went to Houston and they pledged 200 million to a 527 fronted by Gingrich called "DRILL NOW!" to hoodwink the public and evade reality and responsibility. It's a criminal enterprise paid for by ill-gotten gouged gasoline dollars.
